EIS/EIR-Port of Oakland 50' Dredging Project, Oakland, CA., Served as Project Manager for the analysis of Land Use, Recreation, and Visual Impacts related to this dredging project which will deepen the existing channel from 42' to 50'.
EIS/EIR, Cypress Freeway Replacement Project, Oakland, CA, Project Manager for Visual Analysis section of the Environmental Impact Report (CEQA)/Statement (NEPA), and prepared the visual impact assessment and visual/aesthetic mitigations in accordance with the American Society of Landscape Architects methodology accepted by the Federal Highway Administration for highway projects, and as directed by CALTRANS District 4 Landscape and Environmental staff.
Other Related Activities:
During more than 25 years of public service, Mr. Ward has reviewed, analyzed, and approved dozens of environmental documents ranging from initial studies, environmental assessments, environmental impact reports and statements and a variety of related documents. Project environmental documents were for a complex range of activities including major highways, subdivisions, multi-family housing developments, redevelopment programs, industrial and retail commercial developments, and mixed-use projects.
